	Since its inauguration in 1989 the BMW International Open has since secured a firm place on the PGA European Tour. Since David Feherty (Northern Ireland) was crowned the first champion, the tournament has developed and become more influential each year. Following a surprise victory from David Horsey in 2010 after Bradley Dredge led the competition at the end of each practice day, players and spectators alike look forward to witnesses another exciting victory in 2011.
